Juneau, Alaska - REACH Incorporated is excited to welcome its new Executive Director, Naomi Studevan, who brings more than 20 years of experience in education and mental and behavioral health to the Juneau-based nonprofit.
“I’m thrilled to step into the role of executive director and join this amazing team and community,” Studevan says. “For me, this is not just an opportunity, it's an adventure. I understand that change can sometimes be challenging, but I believe that together, we can embark on this journey with open hearts and minds, united by our commitment to serve the Juneau community.”
REACH’s board of directors selected Studevan after a nationwide search. She comes to Juneau from Pennsylvania, where she grew up in a small town where her family’s roots date back over 80 years. Studevan’s professional background includes her start as a residential counselor, as well as starting her own education and behavioral health advocacy company, where she worked closely with parents to help navigate systems and services to provide better care. With over two decades of experience and specialized training in education and behavioral health, she’s dedicated to driving meaningful change and fostering growth for those she serves.
“Studevan has a passion for service. She’s enthusiastic about leading the team at REACH. She’s committed to expanding advocacy efforts and empowering our clients and their families through our services,” said Matt Jones, board president.
Studevan has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clark Atlanta University and a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix.
