Respite
A gift of time
We provide short-term care so that families or caregivers can take a break from the routine of caring for a person with a disability.
All our respite workers have been carefully screened and we work hard to find a good match between our respite workers and our families.
Respite may involve overnight or extended care. Respite enables families to take vacations or just a few hours of time away. So how do we select our respite workers? Carefully: As well as the usual interview process we talk to past employers and do a thorough police check at a state and federal level. No one with a criminal record can be a respite worker and they have to have a clean driving record.
