INFANT LEARNING PROGRAM

REACH Infant Learning Program provides services for families with infants and toddlers (birth to age three) with developmental delays and/or disabilities.  These services support families and promote growth and development in the critical early years of childhood.

REACH Infant Learning Program

  • Developmental screening and assessment to see how a child is learning and developing;
  • An Individualized Family Service Plan outlines the goals and services chosen for a child and his/her family;
  • Information and resources to help families better understand their child’s strengths and unique needs;
  • Services provided in the community – in the home, center, child care other settings;
  • Educational and therapy services (speech, physical and occupational) to assist a child in moving, communicating, thinking, learning and socializing;
  • Assistance in accessing other community resources that may be helpful.

Research indicates that the period from birth to age three is the most critical to a child’s overall brain growth and development.  The earlier strategies are implemented better for developmental intervention. If early opportunities are missed there may be long lasting effects.
