Haines Community Services
Serving Haines, Klukwan, and Skagway
The REACH office in Haines provides services to people with developmental disabilities in Haines, Skagway and Klukwan. The staff based in Haines provide the same range of services available from the Juneau office including care coordination, Support Services services, respite and supported employment. Program coordinators tap into local resources including a recreational riding program, the community garden, the Haines swimming pool, local libraries, as well as a REACH Activity Center to provide opportunities for socialization and recreation.
In addition, the Haines REACH office houses the Infant Learning Program which serves Haines and Skagway and the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Community Education Project.
